This is what makes giving this gift very special for your guests because you are actually sharing and giving a part of yourself. The wedding favor doesn't have to be expensive, in fact you are only limited by your own imagination. There are many inexpensive favors that you could find for under $2 or $3 each. Some examples of popular wedding favor ideas are: prepackaged chocolate chip cookies with recipe card; candy jars; fancy soaps from your favorite bath shop; scented candles; scented bath salts; coasters; magnets; place card holder photo frame; tea light holders and more. These gifts also serve to remind your guests of the wonderful time they had with you, particularly, if you give them favors that can serve as keepsakes, like an ornament that they could hang on their Christmas tree during the holidays or a wine a stopper. All that you would need to think about is the following: How much are you comfortably willing to spend? On the other hand, there are some disadvantages to giving these favors. The biggest one is that it can add an unnecessary expense to you. The money that you will spend could be either saved or used on something else you might be needing and since we've all unfortunately, witnessed the many times that favors are left behind at the end of the evening, it makes a person wonder, if it is worth the trouble, effort or expense to give a wedding favor after all? Not to mention, the process is also very time consuming. In my honest opinion and I don't mean to be blunt here, but, I feel that the reasons why favors are usually left behind is because it lacks personality, uniqueness, it's ugly or might be just plain cheap in appearance. Don't make the mistake of thinking pricier means better, it doesn't always work that way. As in all things in life, you want to get the most for your dollar and be able to buy the best that you can comfortably afford, this is no exception. Ultimately with all things considered, only you can decide if you want to give a gift to your friends and family. If you would like to give a wedding favor, try to put some thought into the kind of favors you select and put an emphasis on personality and making it special for them, this will make a difference and your gift will be more likely to be cherished and appreciated by your guests.
Speaking from personal experience, the ones I've enjoyed and have cherished all have had one thing in common, they were beautiful and made me feel special when I received it, so I made sure to keep it. So try to keep this concept in mind because, it really does make a differenc!
