Starting a gift registry isn't easy to do, especially when registering kitchen electronics. "What should I add besides dinnerware, glasses, mugs and the usual pots and pans", you ask? Well, there are a lot of neat gadgets that you can include into the gift registry that will make life a lot easier on you, including the cup of coffee you're sure to have before dashing out to work.
I've composed a list of basic items that every kitchen needs, but that, at the very moment of registering gifts, you might unintentionally overlook the inclusion of these housewares when registering kitchen electronics.
In today's market, there are a lot of small kitchen appliances that go way beyond the toaster. Let's take a look and see what's showing up in many couples' registries these days,
Hand mixers are the perfect light baking accessory to include into your gift registry, they beat eggs, whip cream and take the difficulty out of blending cake batter; they're also excellent
for mashing potatoes too. But, if you're into making cookie dough or bread, there's nothing better than owning a stand mixer.
Stand mixers are heavy duty machines that can not only perform the same tasks as a hand mixer, but they can also help you make the chocolate chip cookies that you grew up with as a kid, since they are known to have a stronger motor. Another similar product to consider are food processors, they can be used for almost any prep task: they puree, chop, slice and dice. Many models have a pulse button to mix batters and doughs. Think about which of these appliances would benefit you most and be sure to include them when registering kitchen electronics.
If you're like me, then you love to have a smoothie in the morning or quite frankly, anytime is good! Blenders can whip up a perfect fruit smoothie, crush ice to make a frozen margarita or puree your favorite soup. Just be sure to get a motor that is no less than 400 watts, it will last longer and perform better than the lower watt blenders. Juicers are another hot item on registries; consider whether you'll need a citrus juicer for simple drinks, or a large machine to process hard fruits and vegetables, like apples, beets, carrots etc. There are countless of juicers like these in the market, examples of these are, juicers be Juiceman and Champion juicers.
Hmm, now for that favorite cup of coffee in the morning. Coffeemakers have gone high tech. You can choose from drip coffeemakers, percolators, combination grinding and brewing machines and single-serve (also known as "pod") coffeemakers. But if gourmet is your thing, then an espresso machine might be what you're looking for. Espresso machines come in two varieties: Pump machines heat an espresso-cup-sized measure of water, then force (or espress) the heated water through densely packed, powdery, ground coffee at high pressure. This will result in a rich, less bitter coffee with a thick caramel-colored foam topping called "crema". You can also purchase a simpler, less expensive steam machine that heats many cups of water through the grinds at a lower speed, producing a lighter flavor and a thinner crema.
Now to go with coffee we couldn't forget the classic wedding gift of the toaster. Toasters have gotten fancy and are not like the ones from yesteryear. These days, toasters now feature preprogrammed functions for defrosting and reheating; touch pad controls; deeper and wider slots for breads of all sizes, including bagels; and warming trays for that favorite Danish and croissant! Adding a toaster like this, when registering kitchen electronics is a must for all bread lovers. Who doesn't enjoy a good cup of coffee, with a toasted bagel with butter or cream cheese? A classic deli find you can make anytime at home, just by registering for the right gifts.
Small kitchen appliances make a huge difference in our lives, they facilitate the cooking and preparation of popular foods and drinks. What's also nice to know, is that they are available in many colors, so you can color coordinate all of your kitchen accessories to match your kitchen decor. I hope that you'll add some of these cool items when registering kitchen electronics. Bon appetit!
